SMUD Station G Concept

To address the growing needs for the City of Sacramento, SMUD is expanding its historic Station A into the adjacent parcel to the north. In addition to an equipment yard, the new station includes a two-story control building, perimeter walls, and dedications for future parklets. Moniz Architecture's design for the windowless and secure control building is a patterned facade that adds a playful element to the urban character of the developing neighborhood.
