Alicia Moniz, AIA, LEED AP
Alicia Moniz is an award winning design architect with experience in downtowns, renovation, in-fill, commercial, civic and interiors projects. Her over thirty years experience as a licensed architect includes community centers, libraries, parks, airports, sheriff’s facilities, fire fighter facilities, public housing, streetscapes, offices, retail, restaurant and historic rehabilitation. Ms. Moniz established Moniz Architecture in 2005. Prior to establishing Moniz Architecture, she worked on public works and private projects in Sacramento areas architectural firms. She was a founding partner of her predecessor firm, first established in 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, and has served as a Commissioner and Standards Setting Committee Member for the California Board of Architectural Examiners.
